At the beginning of the summer, David had a school graduation ceremony.
The whole school gathered, and everyone got to tell the students things they appreciated or would remember about everyone.
It was a pretty awesome way to graduate everyone.
Saturday morning games.
...and DONUTS! Some crazy combos at the local place, including strawberry lemonade and raspberry fritter!
Donuts and tablet time - perfect morning.

When you make enchilada sauce
...it makes a ton....
...but it's WORTH it.
So I make mine to go, and keep extras for later.
Off to the freezer!

David had big plans for shelves in the new appartment. I bought the shelves, but told David he had to build them.
First thing he did was to start sorting the screws.
But as he started building, it was looking great!
Meanwhile, Felix is hanging in his new catbed. LOVES it.
Half in, half out. Unbothered.
We got David's bed set up, but not the bedframe. (It's done now, but not in this photo)
All shelves built, and starting to get things sorted out.
Later, we got these cool shelves he picked out, so he can display all his Funko Pops.
He gathered up his bins of legos, moved them to his new desk in the living room. (they've since been relocated under the bed, for easier access).
There was an Art Fair near the Gloria Coles Library in Flint, so the 3 of us took a trip.

On the way home from the Art Fair, I snagged some Cinnamon-roasted Almonds. Score!
Someone was waiting for us to get home.
We set up a new scheduling system. Each week, I add our appointments to a large dry-erase magnetic board using smaller magnetic tiles. At the start of the week, we spread out the weekly chores onto whatever days make sense.
Each night, David can load up his board from the weekly board, and start to plan his day. Works pretty well so far!
They had an Art History escape room of some kind. This thing used lasers, and you had to reflect the light to unlock the clues.
The more clues you discovered, the easier you could place the art items on the history timeline.

And then there were two...
Felix has a new brother, Finn! Lots of sniffing...
...hiding...
...more sniffing.
David is showing Finn the ropes.
After about a day, they got along just fine.
Finn loves the shower, just like his brother.
Seriously, though.

Hogging Felix's bed!
David has been a big help with the cats, too! He's always been great with Felix, and he likes watching where Finn explores.
"Oh, now someone won't let YOU ever sleep, huh?!" (haha)

D&D night at Uncle Josh's! We entered a secret library inside of an ancient temple.
Meanwhile, outside the library, my character was defending the party from a bunch of pissed-off ghost librarians.
...I died. (don't worry, I got better).
Cookie treats!
We stopped at a place in Lapeer while comic shopping. Pretty tasty find!
For some reason, David thought we couldn't make Shirley Temples anymore. "Oh, you mean... LIKE THESE?!?"
David started doing some personal training work at the gym near his mom's house. He's gone a few times a week for a couple of weeks, and seems to like it!
Sushi reward meal. Obviously. (obviously!)

Cleaning chores. Swiffer-wet is like vacuuming, without all the noise!
Banana Bread. Possibly the last time you see it in this shape... (to be continued...)
We took Papa Joe to see the new Superman movie!
I thought it was pretty awesome, actually. Felt like a live-action "Incredibles".
After, we went out for wings.
The 'spread.
On Saturday, David and I helped Cristen set up for Flint Pride Fest.
New location apparently, but it was right downtown and super convenient..
Volunteers!
I have this Frog pin on my "plant supplies" tub. I think I got it at the LAST pride event I went to, lol.

We also went to the Really Cool ComicCon in Flint. It was much smaller than the one in Novi... but I didn't mind it!
Also, these sausages were pretty great. Perfect with pierogi.
Until next month!
