Project Description
The Madison Modern Quilt Guild was beginning to sell retreat tickets, and needed a more streamlined way to track payments and customers. After discussing our options, we settled on installing WooCommerce to handle our transactions. Products were added, categorized to sort them by page, and the rest of the plugin was configured for the client. Additionally, some cosmetic changes were also made. The site logo was very large, and so functionality was added to shrink the menu after the user scrolled, in order to conserve screen space. The menus were also restructured, and a "calendar" page was added. The calendar featured an embedded Google calendar to display events. Lastly, the calendar also had a sub-page with a form which allowed users to suggest events for the guild.
